Chrome Architecture is hiring a Safety Officer / Store Keeper to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting workplace safety practices and ensuring proper management and organization of store operations.
Requirements
Minimum of BSc, HND or OND in Environmental Health, Building Technology, or a related field.
Good understanding of applicable HSE regulations, standards, and safe work practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to maintain proper records and follow workplace procedures.
Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and report workplace hazards.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, safety policies, and safe work practices.
Ensure employees use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Conduct safety briefings and promote safe working practices among staff.
Report and document accidents, incidents, and safety concerns.
Receive, inspect, record, and properly store incoming materials and supplies.
Maintain accurate stock and inventory records.
Issue materials and supplies based on authorized requests.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged items.
Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical stock with records.
Keep the store clean, secure, organized, and properly maintained.
Maintain proper documentation of all stock movements.
Work closely with other departments to ensure materials are available when required.
Perform other safety and store-related duties assigned by management.
