About This Role

A fast-growing 24-hour Christian television station based in Ibadan is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join its media team. The station broadcasts Christian programmes, sermons, teachings, and faith-based content to audiences across Africa and Europe. The successful candidate will edit sermons, interviews, documentaries, TV programmes, adverts, promos, and social media content. Training and support will be provided during the probation period. Requirements

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro

Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or similar graphics software

Proficiency in CapCut Pro

Ability to edit interviews, documentaries, TV programmes, adverts, promos, and social media content

Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, music selection, and visual composition

Ability to transform raw footage into engaging finished content

Strong creativity and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a production team

Ability to work from scripts, creative briefs, or director's instructions

Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary, particularly during live events and major productions

A portfolio or samples of previous work are an advantage

Responsibilities

Edit sermons, interviews, documentaries, and television programmes

Produce adverts, promotional videos, and social media content

Transform raw footage into polished and engaging videos

Apply appropriate transitions, music, effects, and visual elements

Follow scripts, creative briefs, and direction from the production team

Organize and manage video project files and footage

Collaborate with the media and production teams

Make revisions based on feedback

Ensure completed videos meet the required quality and production standards

Support video production activities during live events and major productions
