About This Role
We are urgently hiring an experienced IT Officer to manage and maintain the company’s technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless operation of hardware, software, and networks, provide user support, implement cybersecurity measures, and troubleshoot technical issues to support daily operations and special events.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT support or system administration
BSc or HND in Computer Science
Strong knowledge of network and system administration
Experience with cybersecurity tools (antivirus, firewall, access control)
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and upgrade company networks and servers
Provide help desk support for staff, members, and guests
Implement antivirus and firewall protection to ensure data security
Install, configure, and update hardware and software applications
Manage user accounts (creation, maintenance, deletion)
Ensure audio-visual equipment and WiFi function properly for events
Coordinate with external IT vendors for repairs and maintenance
