Rubycom Services Limited is seeking a skilled Documentation Officer (Import & Export – Sea Freight) to manage end-to-end shipment documentation and ensure full regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in sea freight documentation, strong knowledge of Nigerian Customs procedures, and the ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
Requirements
Minimum of OND with hands-on experience in Sea Freight documentation
Strong knowledge of Form M, PAAR, SONCAP, NAFDAC, and Nigerian Customs procedures
Practical experience liaising with Customs and regulatory bodies
Working knowledge of AEO clearance procedures
Good understanding of HS Code classification and tariff interpretation
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end documentation for import and export sea freight shipments
Process Form M, PAAR, SONCAP, and other regulatory documentation
Prepare and submit shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, etc.)
Liaise with Nigeria Customs Service, shipping lines, terminal operators, and regulatory agencies
Track shipment status and provide timely updates
Ensure accurate HS Code classification and duty assessment
Maintain proper filing and resolve documentation discrepancies
Ensure full compliance with import/export regulations and company policies
