About This Role
Home Kitchen is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cook/Kitchen Assistant to prepare delicious Igbo meals and support daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate must be hygienic, organized, and passionate about Igbo cuisine, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
Requirements
Must be from South Eastern Nigeria (Igbo land)
Female applicants only
Fluent in Igbo and English (spoken and written)
Excellent communication skills using a smartphone
Strong attention to hygiene and food safety
Ability to work independently and in a team
Willingness to learn and follow kitchen policies
Knowledge of Igbo cuisine preferred
Responsibilities
Occasionally purchase ingredients from local markets
Prepare and preserve ingredients for cooking
Cook Igbo meals according to company standards
Package food for delivery and hand over to riders
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and utensils
Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies run low
